People in relationships should go on more dates. Boo to boredom and the everyday ordinary – abandon the couch and do something memorable, but dating is not without its challenges. There’s the bit where I have to wear something nice. And not get toothpaste on it. Or pick my hairstyle/ bags/ specs, because yes, they will be watching. Or eat the beard with embarrassment when you I something weird. Yes, dates are hard – to find, and to repeat. Here I have done some research regarding Manchester’s best spots for dating which I think my girlfriend would love, including chilled ones, smart ones, boozy blowouts, romantic feasts and more.

1. Dusk til Pawn
With its secretive appeal, darkly lit interior and cosy corners to huddle together in, this cool Northern Quarter bar makes an ideal spot for a date in Manchester. Break the ice (and get to know more about each other) by playing on the free jukebox together, and loosen up with a few of Dusk Til Pawn's expertly crafted cocktails.

2. Airkix
I think Airkix is something that is almost guaranteed to surprise my date - indoor skydiving.

3. All Star Lanes

An old favourite, this: the American retro of the All Star Lanes is still seductive after all these years. Ideal for a high-five kinda date, complete with elaborate victory dances if you make a strike (we’re talking about the pins here, mind). You can test out your lover’s competitive side and feel iconic for the night.

4. Route 66 Drive-In Cinema

Outdoors Cinema is not popular in Malaysia and I've never been watch any movie outdoors.The classic slice of Americana that is the drive-in movie experience is undoubtedly an import worth embracing. Route 66 Drive-In Cinema brings the all-American experience to Manchester, so jump in the car and watch the latest flicks from the comfort of car. We can even order hot food, popcorn and drinks to turn your ride into a mini cinema as we watch our chosen film on the big screen – experience a new take on the cinema experience.

I think me and my girlfriend would enjoy this experience much.
